ADHESION AGENTS & CUTTERS
Bituminous Products manufactures Bitumite adhesion agent designed to assist with the adhesion between bitumen and aggregate in bituminous surfacing work. Bitumite is incorporated into our precoats to promote adhesion and is also sold separately as Bitumite for inclusion in bitumen binder usually at the rate of between 0.5% and 1%.
Bituminous Products supplies a range of Cutters (for the temporary reduction of bitumen binder viscosity) and Flux Oils (for long term reduction of binder viscosity) that comply with AS3568 and State Road Authority Specifications. These are highly refined hydrocarbon solvents and distillates including Cutter LA (Low Flash Kerosene), Cutter HFK (high Flash Kerosene) and Flux Oil (Diesel Distillate).
