MOBILE BLENDING

Bituminous Products has 2 large mobile polymer modified bitumen (PMB) blending plants. These plants are fully relocatable and are self-contained with their own power sources.  They can be operated virtually anywhere and are especially suited to operating in remote unserviced locations.  Our mobile plants are highly flexible and are able to quickly react to demand fluctuations avoiding down time and wastage.  PMBs can be made in exactly the right quality, quantities, when and where you need them; thereby avoiding costly in-transit heating that also has a detrimental impact on product quality.

The mixer volumes are 30,000 litres and are identical to the blending plants at our fixed plants around Australia.  They are capable of manufacturing both Asphalt and Spray Sealing Binders which are fully compliant with Austroads specifications.  The crumb rubber modified binder produced by these mobile plants is in fact S45R being identical to factory produced S45R.  This means that the crumb rubber is fully blended and digested to yield optimum elastic and adhesive properties which are superior to “field blended”  S18RF.

PMBs can be produced in your Asphalt Plant direct to your storage tank or on-site to service your spray sealing operations anywhere in Australia.
