PRECOATS
Bituminous Products precoats are a premium bitumen based liquid made for the coating of cover aggregates for spray sealing applications. Specially formulated to achieve maximum adhesion and the prevention of stripping. The Bituminous Products ‘SUPA’ range of precoats combine low viscosity with an optimum concentration of bitumen and additives.
This results in excellent ‘wettability’ and subsequently reduced application rates which in turn enables a large surface area of the aggregate to be coated with a thin film of bitumen and anti-stripping agents to achieve optimum field performance. It is recommended that between 6-9 litres of precoat be used per cubic metre of aggregate, depending on aggregate nature and size.
Our range includes the following products: Supa 20, Supa 30, Supa DS which comply with the various state road authority requirements.
Supa DS is a premium product utilising virgin materials to achieve outstanding performance and advanced drying times.
Supa 20 is also made from premium products with the minor addition of recycled materials, providing outstanding all round performance.
Super 30 provides outstanding adhesion and stripping performance whilst utilising refined recycled and virgin materials.
