CUTBACK BITUMEN

Bituminous Products manufactures a range of AS2157 compliant bitumen cutbacks (AMC grades) which are used for priming unbound aggregate road bases, promoting adhesion between a seal or asphalt and base or as a sealing binder.  AMC Cutbacks are normally made from C170 grade bitumen (other bitumen grades can be made to order) diluted with precise quantities of various solvents to reduce handling temperatures and viscosities.  Solvents used include kerosene (LA cutter), high flash kerosene (HFK) and diesel (Flux).
